Artis Wall Installation

Step-by-Step Instruction

1. PREPARE

GATHER TOOLS

In order to properly install Artis Wall gather the following tools:

  •     Utility knife
  •     Tape measure
  •     Straight edge
  •     Scissors
  •     Pencil

UNBOX PLANKS

Unbox planks and let them sit in the room of installation for 10 days to acclimate.

2. CLEAN & MEASURE

Before beginning the installation process, make sure your walls are clean and free from debris. Wash your wall with clean water and dry thoroughly. Then measure to determine the height of your wall.

3. CUT & APPLY A.I.M. STRIPS

Measure and cut A.I.M. strips to the exact height of your wall. You will need (1) A.I.M. strip for every 10-inch to cover the width of your wall.

Beginning at the left side of your wall, peel off the A.I.M. strip backing and apply to the wall. Apply strips vertically every 10-inches apart. Finish with an A.I.M. strip at the far right hand side even if it is less than 10-inches.

4. APPLY PLANKS

First, determine the layout of your planks on the floor. Starting at the bottom-left corner of your wall, begin placing the planks perpendicular to the A.I.M. strips and apply pressure to ensure a tight hold.

Planks come in varied size for easy and quick installation. To trim planks score both sides of the plank with a utility knife and snap.

5. ENJOY!

Damage-Free Removal

Step-by-Step Instruction

1. REMOVE PLANKS

To remove, simply slide your fingers along the top edge of your Artis Wall planks and slowly pull way from the wall until the plank releases from the A.I.M. strips.

2. PEEL A.I.M. STRIPS

After the planks have been removed, peel back a corner of the A.I.M. strip and slowly pull it down the wall at a 45-degree angle.

3. NO DAMAGE

After all of the A.I.M. strips have been removed, your wall will look just as it did before. No mess, no damage, just peace of mind!
