Look for 
the symbol or for the letters “FSC” on the packaging.
How does the FSC and SmartWood enforce their certification?
At a minimum of once per year, on-site audits are conducted of each certified entity. Paperwork, policies and operational practices are reviewed against the FSC Standards.
What can I do to promote responsible forest management globally?
Look for and give preference to FSC Certified products when making purchases.
